The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife’s (CROW) Visitor Education Center, at 3883 Sanibel-Captiva Road, Sanibel, will present the following:

• Thursday, Oct. 15

Program of the Week at 11 a.m.

This presentation will be “A Day in the Life of a CROW Student.” Join one of our interns to learn about CROW’s important role in education and research, along with what it takes to treat wildlife.

• Friday, Oct.16

Program of the Week at 11 a.m.

This presentation will be “Sharks in Coastal Waters.” Learn all about the locals in our oceans and why sharks are vital to our ecosystems. These living fossils have ruled the seas for over 400 million years, long before dinosaurs ever walked the Earth. Generations after JAWS, there are still many myths circulating about sharks, and this presentation will help dispel some of that fear, debunk those myths, and hopefully help you gain a newfound appreciation for these beautiful and unique animals.

• Monday, Oct.19

Program of the Week at 11 a.m.

This presentation will be “Rescue, Rehab, and Release.” What happens when an animal arrives at CROW? How is a wild animal rescued? When does an animal need to be rescued? How does a patient go from CROW back to the wild? How did CROW get its start? Join us for this presentation to learn the answer to these questions and many more.
