Gut feeling is roundabout won’t work

To the editor:

I was happy to see the letter from Bob Brooks regarding the Sanibel roundabout in the March 18, 2026, issue of the Island Reporter

When we were younger, my husband and I were fortunate to have lived in Bermuda for two years. At the time, there were many roundabouts that worked beautifully on the island.

We have lived full time on Sanibel now for over 30 years.

Though not as well educated on the subject of roundabouts as Mr. Brooks, my “gut feeling” is that they just won’t work here.
