Barbara McGarry
Sanibel, FL – Barbara McGarry, 80 passed away on September 23, 2021 with her loving husband Bob of 56 years and her daughter Christine Kingdon by her side. She was able to share farewells with her three grandchildren Lily, Tyler and Logan and son in-law Keith Kingdon via Facetime.
Barbara was born and raised in Glen Cove, NY. She was a resident of Syosset, NY until moving to Bristol, RI in 2010 and later becoming full time residents of Sanibel in 2017 after having a home on the island for over twenty years.
Barbara was an active volunteer with FISH, Saint Isabel’s Women’s Guild, San Cap Catholics and the Sanibel Garden Club.
The family is planning a memorial mass and celebration of life later this year. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to FISH of SANCAP www.fishofsancap.org
