South Seas unveils new breakfast offerings at Beach House
For the first time, Beach House at South Seas is offering an all-new breakfast experience available to resort guests and Club Captiva members. The restaurant, which opened to guests just over a year ago, has expanded its specialty lunch and dinner offerings to include a comprehensive breakfast menu filled with breakfast favorites.
Beach House’s breakfast selections include “fresh & light” bites, including overnight oats, a fruit parfait and more, “coastal favorites,” like low country shrimp and grits or Meyer lemon and wild blueberry buttermilk pancakes. Also featured on the menu are “beach house specialties,” which has something for everyone, including the South Seas classic – eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes or grits, and toast – to the wild mushroom omelet, featuring roasted wild mushrooms, caramelized onion, potatoes or grits, and aged cheddar.
The menu also includes an assortment of sides for an additional cost, including English muffins, fresh seasonal fruit, applewood bacon and more.
Also new to the restaurant are its specialty breakfast drinks. Zero-proof offerings include the island banana berry smoothie, tropical paradise smoothie, ruby red grapefruit juice and fresh Florida orange juice.
Adult beverages include South Seas’ house-crafted beach house Mary, aperol spritz, the bayfront mimosa, seaside sangria, and a classic peach Bellini. During the month of October, guests will receive a complimentary mimosa with breakfast. Beach House also offers tea and coffee for guests seeking a more traditional breakfast.
Guests are invited to start their mornings with a sunrise view at Beach House, where nearly every table boasts a Gulf view. Breakfast will be available from 7 to 11 a.m. daily.
