Lee County Supervisor of Elections mails voting information to large precincts
Last week, the Lee County Supervisor of Elections Office mailed approximately 200,000 voter engagement notices for the Nov. 3 general election to voters in 37 high-population precincts.
The notices provide voters with information on voting by mail and early voting, two alternatives to voting on Election Day. Both are convenient voting options that can expedite casting their ballots in the upcoming election.
The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot is 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22.
Requesting a vote-by-mail ballot does not require an excuse, and the return postage is paid.
