Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff is pleased to recognize the bank’s returning role as a sponsor for the 14th annual Pink Out Picnic: Health & Hope Expo. The time-honored event will be held at Sanibel Community House at 2173 Periwinkle Way. Kicking off at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22, the Pink Out Picnic will offer free lunch and an expo providing information to guests to stay healthy in body, mind, and spirit. With activities through 1:30pm, the public is invited to join cancer survivors and other guests celebrating their wellness journeys.

“Let’s Pink Out is such an important community event,” said Roepstorff. “We salute the Pink Project’s founder and cancer survivor Mary Bondurant. Through Mary’s vision and enthusiasm, the Pink Out events have grown over the years to raise cancer awareness and support island residents and employees challenged by breast cancer diagnoses.”

With a donation of $1,500, Bank of the Islands will serve as the Drink Station Sponsor for the Pink Out Picnic.

All funds raised at the Pink Out events support uninsured and underinsured community members with breast cancer-related financial needs. To learn more about this event and how you can help, please visit PinkOutSanibel.com.
