CEPD sets millage rate and budget
The Captiva Erosion Prevention District approved its millage rate and budget for fiscal year 2026-2027 during its Wednesday meeting.
The commissioners unanimously approved its operating millage rate of 0.3617 mills for the levying of ad valorem taxes. The millage rate, is the rolled-back rate.
According to the resolution, “the gross taxable value for operating purposes not exempt from taxation within the district has been certified by the Lee County Property Appraiser as $1,849,001,838.”
The operating budget, also unanimously approved, is $650,294.
