Bank of the Islands sponsors ‘Lights Up Captiva Island’

As the holidays approach, Bank of the Islands is pleased to become the Lighting Sponsor for Captiva Holiday Village (CHV) and its newest initiative “Lights Up Captiva Island”.
“We are thrilled to be providing this additional support for the third annual Captiva Holiday Village,” said Bank of the Islands Captiva Office Manager Willy Ocasio. “Like our work on Luminary and the Golf Cart Parade, this sponsorship is another great way to show how much we appreciate being your island bank on Captiva.”
Captiva is transformed into a charming holiday village with special events every weekend from Nov. 29 through Dec. 22. This year includes first-time access to South Seas Island Resort on special “Holly Trolleys” and many discounts and offers available by purchasing a Lights Up Captiva Island coupon booklet. The booklets cost $20 and benefit the Golisano Children’s Hospital. Dorothy Fitzgerald, who has spearheaded the Lights Up campaign, says the $20 booklets contain $500 in potential savings and can be used on Captiva long after the holiday season is over.
“The Lights Up Captiva coupon booklets are available for sale at all four Edison National Bank/Bank of the Islands offices in Fort Myers, Sanibel and Captiva,” said Ocasio. “Stop in to purchase a booklet and we’ll offer you a freshly baked cookie and fresh brewed cup of coffee when you visit.”
Booklets can be purchased with cash or checks payable to Golisano Children’s Hospital.
