DDWS donates binoculars, guides
The “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society-Friends of the Refuge (DDWS) reported that as part of its support for conservation education in local schools, it donated during the 2025-26 school year durable, high-quality Nocs binoculars and bird field guides for student use in natural settings across eight Lee County District schools. The binoculars ignited fascination with the wild world around them, while the guides assisted with identification and engagement. The donations were made possible thanks to donations to the DDWS that were designated for education.
