The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) announced that Drs. Hunter Ferchaw and Cole Ferreira have joined the wildlife teaching hospital as Doctor of Veterinary Medicine interns.

Ferchaw earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

Ferreira earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Certificate in Aquatic Animal Health from the University of Florida’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

CROW reported that the yearlong program provides veterinarians with intensive, hands-on experience in wildlife medicine, while helping it care for thousands of sick, injured and orphaned native and migratory wildlife patients.

Celebrating the 30th anniversary of its student program, CROW offers various internship and externship opportunities.
