City to hold Strategic Energy Plan workshop
The city of Sanibel will hold its Strategic Energy Plan Public Workshop #2 on Aug. 19 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in MacKenzie Hall (city council chambers) at City Hall on Sanibel and virtually via Zoom.
It will be an opportunity for the island community to express its energy needs and concerns to help prioritize the plan’s actions. The goals for the workshop will include:
– Provide an overview of the project: Learn about why the city is completing an energy plan and how it will help the community
– Prioritize plan actions: Review plan actions and prioritize based on community needs
The presentation will be recorded.
