The Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum & Aquarium will host “Shell Under Pressure: Exploring Ocean Acidification and Mollusks” on Aug. 1 from 11 a.m. to noon at 3075 Sanibel-Captiva Road, Sanibel. The educational program will be led by marine biology education intern Megan Pinsker. Attendees will learn how climate change affects marine life, discover why shells become vulnerable and explore ways to protect the oceans. In addition, it will include a fun craft to help build a better shell. The program is free with paid admission to the museum. To register, contact Jorden Falker at jfalker@shellmuseum.org.
