Shell museum to offer program
BAILEY-MATTHEWS NATIONAL SHELL MUSEUM & AQUARIUM
The Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum & Aquarium will host “Mollusks for Food: The Future!” on July 19 at 11 a.m. at 3075 Sanibel-Captiva Road, Sanibel. The educational program will be led by marine biology education intern James Gruber. Attendees will learn how bivalves are farmed for consumption and how to support sustainable seafood. In addition, the presentation will be followed by a fun activity on sustainable seafood. The program is free with paid admission to the museum. For more information, visit https://shellmuseum.org/.
