SCIAR hosts beach cleanup
In conjunction with the Florida Realtors’ statewide “Clean Up Florida Waters” event, the Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of Realtors (SCIAR) organized a beach cleanup on May 22 on the Causeway Islands for its members and affiliate business partners. Participants met on Island B to take part in the community “bucket challenge,” an effort aimed at removing litter and ensuring cleaner, safer coastlines for residents and wildlife. Participants included Ted Benjamin, Greg Demaras, Tina DiCharia, Deb Gleason, Melanie Holaway, Kelly Hugeinin, Bill Lejeune, Cathie Lewis and Milissa Sprecher. Affiliate teams included Dryzone Inc., Gallagher Insurance, Lighthouse Construction, Mason Mortgage Advisors, Newport Property Construction, Rosier Insurance, and Trinity Cooling.
