FISH of Sanibel-Captiva and the Sanibel Captiva Young Professionals (SCYP) will continue its public speaking workshop series on July 25 from 10 a.m. to noon at Florida Trust Wealth Management on Sanibel.

The second session will be “Public Speaking Part Two: Neuro Creativity & Unlock Speech Features for Successful Delivery.” The interactive workshop will be led by members of Toastmasters International through the Naples Advanced Toastmasters Club, including Thomas Keller on “Neuro Creativity” and Christine Cargnoni on “Unlock Speech Features for Successful Delivery.”

Participants will build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and learn techniques to become a more engaging and effective speaker. The session will explore creativity in communication, speech structure and practical delivery tools to help them speak with greater clarity and impact. It will be ideal for beginners, professionals community leaders and those looking to improve their public speaking.

“Public speaking is a skill that improves with practice Whether someone is speaking to a large audience, sharing ideas in a meeting, advocating for a cause or simply having more confident conversations, stronger communication skills can open doors and strengthen relationships,” FISH Community Outreach and Resiliency Director Simon Robson said. “We are grateful to Naples Advanced Toastmasters for sharing their expertise with our community.”

The Naples club is part of Toastmasters International, a nonprofit educational organization that helps people develop communication and leadership skills through public speaking training, mentorship and structured speaking programs. It includes experienced speakers and Distinguished Toastmasters, who support members in refining presentation skills, leadership abilities, and professional communication.

RSVPs for the second session are required by July 22.
