Elections Office begins mailing mail ballots
On July 14, the Lee County Elections Office reported that it had begun mailing approximately 96,000 vote-by-mail ballots to county voters who had requested one for the Aug. 18 primary election.
Voters who wish to vote by mail still have time to submit a request.
The deadline to request one is Aug. 6 at 5 p.m.
The Lee County Elections Office noted that all vote-by-mail requests made before 2025 have expired. Voters must submit a new request to receive a mail ballot for the 2026 elections.
