City to host virtual workshop on Sanibel Plan
The city of Sanibel will present a Sanibel Plan Update: Virtual Workshop on July 23 from noon to 1:30 p.m. via Zoom for those unable to attend the Sanibel Plan Update: Community Workshop in June.
The topic again will be “Shaping Our City — Collaborative Group Discussion.”
The workshop will use a dynamic, interactive format to ensure every attendee is heard.
It will entail:
– Brief overview of project progress, community input and steps moving forward
– Group discussion on the key topics of land use, transportation and resiliency
– Provide a summary of key issues identified for each topic
In addition, attendees will hear a summary of community input received to date.
“Public participation remains an essential part of the planning process, ensuring the updated Sanibel Plan continues to reflect the community’s vision while protecting the island’s unique environment, character and quality of life,” the city shared.
