100+ Women Who Care closes out season
Powered by the Charitable Foundation of the Islands (CFI), 100+ Women Who Care Sanibel-Captiva capped off its 2026 season with a happy hour celebration on April 28, hosted by Congress Jewelers on Sanibel. Attendees enjoyed an evening of connection and celebration, plus a silent auction of three items donated by Congress Jewelers, which also contributed a percentage of the event sales to support CFI programs and initiatives. In 2026, 100+ Women Who Care raised more than $72,000 to support nonprofits serving Sanibel and Captiva and awarded $22,000 grants to three organizations. Additional runner-up funding was awarded to others, including the Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum & Aquarium, Roots in Resilience, SanCap Pink Project, Sanibel Music Festival, The Community House and Zonta Club of Sanibel-Captiva. CFI extended its thanks to season sponsor Florida Trust Wealth Management, Congress Jewelers, the Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of Realtors (SCIAR) and volunteer “Wave Makers” committee members.
