Trailways hosts golf tourney
Trailways Camps hosted its 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament on March 30 at Shell Point Golf Club in Fort Myers. With 88 golfers taking part, it featured awards, a 50/50 raffle and lunch. The event raised more than $80,000 to support the organization’s mission, which is providing overnight camp experiences for adults with special needs and respite for their caregivers. The tourney winners were: Rick Fletcher, Peter Rendall, Chris Sigfrids and Tom Warton, first place; Mark Leonhard, Eric Pfeifer, Aaron Pruss and Jason Smith, second place; and Michael and Michelle Cronin and Tim and Virginia Lattner, third place. Grampy’s Charities was the presenting sponsor. Additional major supporters included: Florida Trust Wealth Management; The Sanctuary Golf Club Foundation; Good Catch Plumbing; Golden Boat Lifts; Wiltshire, Whitley, Richardson & English; and an anonymous donor.
