Refuge lecture series available to watch

The “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society-Friends of the Refuge (DDWS) reported that recordings of the 21st annual “Ding” Darling Winter Lecture Series are available to view on its YouTube channel.

The following speakers can be watched:

– Betty Anholt on “History of Sanibel & Captiva”

– Kirsten Hines, author of “Birds of Florida”

– Tony Lapi, author of “Tales of an Island Innkeeper”

– Tina Morris, author of “Return to the Sky: The Surprising Story of How One Woman and Seven Eaglets Helped Restore the Bald Eagle”

– Jeri Magg, author of “The Remarkable Women of Sanibel & Captiva”

– Ron Magill, author of “The Pride of a Lion: What the Animal Kingdom Can Teach Us About Survival, Fear and Family (A True Animal Survival Story)”

– Sunshine State Beekeepers Association on “Hive Life”

– Charles Sobczak, author of “The Wild Places of Southwest Florida”

The DDWS noted that some authors chose not to be filmed.

It co-hosts the lecture series with J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge and through financial support from sponsors.
