Noah’s Ark Thrift Shop announced that it will accept donations only through June 15.

Located at Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church on Sanibel, the store is open on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. from now through July 14. It will be closed during August and September.

“Thank you to everyone who donates — Noah’s Ark operates solely on donations, and your generosity keeps our shelves stocked and supports our mission,” it reported. “We truly appreciate you.”

Donations may be left at the shop’s side loading dock 24/7. For those who need a tax receipt, items can be dropped off on Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and knock on the back door.

“Thank you for helping make Noah’s Ark possible,” the store reported.

Operating for more than 60 years, the shop features clothes, jewelry, furniture, decor, art, shoes, books and more. The donated items are sorted and displayed by volunteers from the church. The proceeds from the store benefit local and national nonprofits that provide support to the wider community.
