Love Sanibel Back continues
Love Sanibel Back will continue on June 29 to July 5 with Week 5, themed “Gratitude Week.” Residents and visitors are encouraged to pause and express appreciation for the people who help make island life possible every day. This week’s simple challenge is to write and deliver a thank you note to a worker, employee, volunteer, business owner or organization that has made a positive impact on their life or the community. Businesses will spotlight their dedicated employees and create appreciation posts. Participants are also encouraged to: leave a positive review for a business or employee; and share a story or photo of gratitude on social media using #LoveSanibelBack. Running from now through August, Love Sanibel Back’s 2026 theme is “Buy Local — Spread Joy — Give Back.” The community initiative includes about 75 participating businesses and partners. It it hosted by Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, in partnership with the city of Sanibel and SanCap Chamber and with support from sponsors and businesses.
