SCHOOL DISTRICT OF LEE COUNTY
ISLAND TEACHER RECOGNIZED WITH AWARD
The School District of Lee County recently celebrated its four Regional Finalist Teachers of the Year, who were honored during the inaugural Legacy Awards.
The new awards are dedicated to recognizing peak excellence and lifetime commitment across the district.
The regional finalists are:
– East: Bianca McGinley at Lemuel Teal Middle School
– North: Joseph Camputaro at Manatee Elementary School
– South: Barbara Scarnato at The Sanibel School
– West: Nicole Micieli at Diplomat Elementary School
The district noted that the outstanding educators represent the absolute best of their regions, bringing creativity, passion and a profound love for learning into their classrooms every single day.
