City reports on holiday operation hours, refuse collection
The city of Sanibel’s Administrative Offices will be closed on July 3 in observance of Independence Day. They will resume regular office hours on July 6. For more information, contact City Hall at 239-472-3700.
Refuse, recycling and vegetation waste collection by Waste Management (WM) will be collected on the regularly scheduled day. For more information, contact WM at 239-334-1224.
The Sanibel Recreation Center will be open on July 3. It will host a Stripes & Sanibel Community Celebration on July 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; the center will be closed for all other activities that day. For more information, contact the center at 239-472-0345.
