The Captiva Memorial Library, which is part of the Lee County Library System, is offering the following free programming:

– June 18: Online Author Event with Ted Page from 2 to 3 p.m.

Storyteller, performer and blogger Ted Page will discuss his book, “Good Grandpa: Stories from the Heart of Grandfatherhood.” It has been featured on NBC’s TODAY Show, NPR, and Forbes. Page’s work has appeared in Boston Magazine, The Boston Globe Magazine and The New York Times. The event is part of the Online Author Events Series. Registration is required.

– June 23: Online Author Event with Sana Javeri Kadri and Asha Loupy from 2 to 3 p.m.

Tune in for a conversation with Sana Javeri Kadri and Asha Loupy about “The Diaspora Spice Co. Cookbook.” Javeri Kadri is the founder and chief executive officer of Diaspora Co., a farm-to-table spice company focused on equity, transparency and quality. Founded in 2017, it now sources spices from 150 farms across India and Sri Lanka. Loupy is a recipe developer and writer with over a decade of experience in the specialty food industry. Her work has appeared in Bon Appétit, Food52 and Epicurious. The event is part of the Online Author Events Series. Registration is required.
