BIG ARTS Art Explorers Camp will take place on July 13-17 at BIG ARTS on Sanibel.

BIG ARTS on Sanibel is taking registrations for its 2026 Summer Youth Camps.

This year’s programming will offer kids hands-on exploration in fused glass, clay, painting, mixed media and more — led by talented local instructors in a fun, supportive environment.

The following camps are available in July:

– Art Explorers Camp: July 13-17 from 10 a.m. to noon

Led by instructor Erica Sharp, youths will explore techniques across painting, printmaking, mixed media and sculpture. They will experiment with watercolor resist effects, create shaving cream marbled papers for collage and bookmarks, paint cosmic skies with silhouetted landscapes, design mixed-media dreamcatchers, and sculpt miniature food creations using clay. Each lesson will blend artistic skill-building with imagination, allowing campers to learn art techniques while creating take-home projects. All skill levels are welcome. Open to youths entering 3-9 grades. The cost is $180 for donors and $225 for non-donors.

BIG ARTS is at 900 Dunlop Road, Sanibel.
