Volunteer sought for Wild Weeders
The “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society-Friends of the Refuge (DDWS) is seeking volunteers for the Wild Weeders, a new program to help maintain the pollinator gardens outside of the Visitor & Education Center at the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel. The group will tackle weeds as they sprout up in the garden beds and walking paths. No previous gardening experience is required. The group will meet once a week.
