Junonia found on Captiva

Lara Wolf, of Westfield, New Jersey, found a junonia on May 11 at Blind Pass Beach on Captiva. She reported that it was her first time on the island. As a lifelong shell collector, Wolf had wanted to visit Sanibel for many years. “This is the first junonia shell I’ve ever found, and it’s probably the last one I’ll ever find,” she added.
