Foundation awards funds to school

The Sanctuary Golf Club Foundation awarded a $30,000 grant to The Sanibel School. The funding will support its STEAM — Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics — program. Since 2020, the foundation has granted a total of $142,000 to the school. While the majority of the funds have supported the STEAM program, contributions have also helped replenish books in the school library and aided in hurricane recovery efforts following Hurricane Ian.
