CROW announces Taste winners
The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) held its 44th annual Taste of the Islands on March 21 at City Hall on Sanibel. With 12 restaurants participating this year, it featured food, drinks and entertainment. CROW noted that it is the longest-running Taste event in Lee County and its longest-standing fundraiser. This year’s award winners are: Cielo, Taste of the Taste and Best Seafood; Sanibel Deli, People’s Choice; Tutti Pazzi Italian Kitchen, Best Appetizer and Best Vegetarian; Scooters Pizza Kitchen, Best Pizza; The Green Flash, Best Dessert and Best Adult Beverage; and BRGR Kitchen & Bar, Best Meat. Leading up to the big event, Restaurant Week took place on March 13-20. The proceeds from the annual fundraiser will support CROW’s mission of saving wildlife.
