The Captiva Island Yacht Club (CIYC) held an On the Water Day in early April. Members and their guests had the chance to kayak from the docks toward Blind Pass and the Gulf, sail the Sunfish from the beach, paddle board along the shore, and enjoy a Marshall Cat from the dock. On shore, they relaxed with beach games and conversation before gathering for a cookout channel-side beside the docks. CIYC Executive Chef Jarred Harris and his staff prepared the buffet, with live music provided by Mark Arsenault. The efforts of the Waterfront Committee and support of the Sailing Committee helped to create a fun and seamless day on the water.
