City to host public workshop on Sanibel Plan
The city of Sanibel will present its Sanibel Plan Update: Community Workshop #2 on June 3 from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Community House, at 2173 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.
The topic will be “Shaping Our City — Collaborative Group Discussion.”
The workshop will use a dynamic, interactive format to ensure every attendee is heard.
It will entail:
– Brief overview of project progress, community input and steps moving forward
– Small group discussions on the key topics of land use, transportation and resiliency
– Breakout session report to entire group on key issues identified for each topic
“Your participation is valuable to guiding the future of Sanibel!” the city shared. “Your voice helps ensure that the plan enhances the quality of life and protects our environment and community.”
Attendees can choose the session that works best for them.
Childcare for school-age children will be available.
