Sanibel FlyFishers fundraiser a success
The Sanibel FlyFishers reported that this year’s Annual Fundraiser and Film Tour was one of its most successful ones to date and was very well attended by members of the community. The screening took place on March 12 at The Community House on Sanibel, with an online auction and raffle leading up to the event. The raffle and auction featured fly fishing gear, guided fishing experiences and artwork generously donated by local guides, artists and club members. Attendees also enjoyed the Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T), a series of short films highlighting the remarkable places where fish live around the world. The proceeds will support the club’s efforts in education, conservation and local philanthropy. The Sanibel FlyFishers thanked everyone who attended and supported the fundraiser.
