SanCap Cares hosts annual celebration
SanCap Cares hosted its 26th Annual Island Celebration on March 4 at Cielo on Sanibel. The event raised over $350,000 to strengthen island-based healthcare services and continue advancing pediatric care across Southwest Florida. This year’s celebration united philanthropic leaders from Sanibel and Captiva in support of comprehensive family medicine services at Lee Health Sanibel Primary/Walk-In Care. The evening featured a mission-driven program, along with fine dining and fellowship that reflected the islands’ deep-rooted culture of generosity. Proceeds from the fundraiser will strengthen access to convenient, high-quality primary and walk-in care for island residents and visitors. Founded in 2001 by a group of Sanibel and Captiva mothers, SanCap Cares has raised over $18 million in support of Lee Health initiatives, continually evolving to meet the region’s changing healthcare needs.
