The “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society-Friends of the Refuge (DDWS) reported that the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge’s Wildlife on Wheels (WoW) mobile classroom team recently taught sixth graders at Oak Hammock Middle School in Tice the difference between animal cells and plant cells. Students used microscopes — made possible by “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society-Friends of the Refuge (DDWS) donors — to identity both. The WoW will be at the school through April 17.
