The J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge and “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society-Friends of the Refuge (DDW) recently resumed a longtime partnership with Butcher Studios to sell artwork by renowned nature photographer Clyde Butcher and his artist wife, Niki Butcher. Previously managed by the DDWS before Hurricane Ian, it will bring a percentage of the sales into refuge coffers to support conservation and education programs. Executive Director Ann-Marie Wildman expressed appreciation for the generous, ongoing contributions that the Butcher family makes to support the refuge. The Everglades have inspired both of their work through the years. The Butchers operate a gallery there, along with Swamp Retreats lodging and Swamp Walk eco-tours. For more information, visit clydebutcher.com — with purchases made through Wildman at wildman@dingdarlingsociety.org or 239-789-8991. Proceeds from their eco-tours and stays will also be donated when booked through DDWS Project Coordinator Claire Keeley at claire@dingdarlingsociety.org or 239-896-0972.
