FISH hosts annual go!FISH Gala
FISH of Sanibel-Captiva hosted its annual go!FISH Gala, themed “FISH in Bloom,” on March 15 at Cielo on Sanibel. Attendees heard about how FISH continues to serve neighbors through its programs. Island artist Rachel Pierce served as auctioneer for a live auction that featured items from community partners, including ACT Catering, Billy Kirkland, Congress Jewelers and A Bit of Bailey’s, plus FISH board members, advocates and private supporters. Eric Pfeifer emceed the evening. One of the most powerful moments came through a heartfelt testimonial shared by a former client. FISH also extended its thanks to Ceilo, The Sanctuary Golf Club and Kyle Sweet, and Shane Antalick. The event was made possible through the dedication of the go!FISH planning team, including President and Chief Executive Officer Maggi Feiner, Executive Director Maria Espinoza and Marketing & Grants Director Maggie Goldsmith, board Directors Salli Kirkland and Sheridan Snell, and Julie Hayles and Kathy Samson.
