County library system offering virtual programs
The Lee County Library System, which includes the Captiva Memorial Library, is offering the following free virtual programming:
ADULT PROGRAMS
– April 22: Online Author Event with Miranda Cowley Heller from 2 to 3 p.m.
Celebrate National Poetry Month with award-winning and bestselling author Miranda Cowley Heller as she discusses her debut poetry collection, “What the Deep Water Knows.” She is the author of the #1 New York Times bestselling novel “The Paper Palace.” Raised in New York City and Cape Cod, Heller previously served as a senior vice president and head of drama series at HBO. The event is part of the Online Author Events Series. Registration is required.
