Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church hosted the Mardi Gras Pancake Supper on Feb. 17 on Sanibel. It featured a classic pancake supper served by volunteers in a Mardi Gras atmosphere. The event raised $1,500 for The Sanibel School’s National Junior Honor Society (NJHS), which the church matched for a total of $3,000. The proceeds will support NJHS initiatives, including student leadership development, service projects and enrichment opportunities, as well as helped several students attend the 2026 LEAD conference on Feb. 27 through March 1 in Washington, D.C. Saint Michael’s thanked everyone who attended, volunteered and donated, including the Men’s Fellowship group that cooked, A Bit of Bailey’s, Perkins in Cape Coral, and the NJHS students who participated.
