SCAL, garden club to open exhibit
The Shell Islands Garden Club and Sanibel-Captiva Art League (SCAL) will present “Art in Bloom 2026” from March 16 at noon through March 18 at noon at the Sanibel Public Library, at 770 Dunlop Road, Sanibel. In its sixth presentation, it will feature 14 artists from the SCAL paired with 14 floral designers from the garden club. Each floral arrangement is created to interpret and complement the original work of art. Free and open to the public, the pieces can be viewed on Mondays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit www.sanibelgardenclub.org or www.sancapart.org.
