Sanibel library offers range of programs and topics
The Sanibel Public Library provides a variety of programming for adults and children.
With support from the Sanibel Public Library Foundation, the library has launched a series of virtual author talks to include bestselling authors and thought leaders. The next one will take place on March 12 at 7 p.m. with acclaimed author Kate Quinn. She will talk about her latest fantastical work, “The Astral Library.”
Quinn is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of historical fiction. A lifelong history buff, she wrote four novels in the Empress of Rome Saga and two books set in the Italian Renaissance before turning to the 20th century with “The Alice Network,” “The Huntress,” “The Rose Code,” “The Diamond Eye” and “The Briar Club.” “The Astral Library” is Quinn’s first foray into magic realism. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in classical voice from Boston University.
