Weeds ‘n’ Seeds plant walk planned
The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF) will host a Weeds ‘n’ Seeds plant walk on Feb. 9 at 9 a.m. at the Sanibel Boat Ramp, at 888 Sextant Drive, Sanibel. Participants will look for unique plantings to see how they have survived and adapted in the wake of the last few hurricane seasons. Meet at the boat ramp; those with Sanibel A/B stickers can park for free in the back parking lot, while those without stickers can pay at the kiosk. Free additional parking is available a short walking distance away at the SanCap Chamber, at 1159 Causeway Blvd., Sanibel. No registration is required.
