SanCap Cares to host annual celebration
SanCap Cares will host its 26th Annual Island Celebration on March 4 on the islands. Presented by Florida Trust Wealth Management, attendees will enjoy featured wines and dinner. This year’s event will advance two priorities within Lee Health: pediatric care at the Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida and Lee Health Sanibel Primary/Walk In Care. The evening’s program will highlight the impact of island philanthropy, as well as offer a silent auction supporting critical needs at the children’s hospital and a mission-focused fund-a-need benefiting the Sanibel clinic. Founded in 2001 by a group of Sanibel and Captiva mothers, SanCap Cares has raised over $18 million in support of the children’s hospital, while responding to evolving healthcare needs throughout the region.
