CFI taking contributions for Giving Tree
The Charitable Foundation of the Islands (CFI) recently launched this year’s Giving Tree. Each branch represents a CFI initiative that uplifts the community, including: Power the Mission, fueling day-to-day impact and year-round community programming; Leadership Sanibel-Captiva Program, cultivating the next generation of island leaders; Sanibel-Captiva Volunteer Expo, connecting nonprofits with community members eager to serve; and Nonprofit Education and Board Training, strengthening the organizations that sustain island life. The first 15 donors will receive a handcrafted ornament created by Odessa Gallery owner and local artist Ilie Ruby. The ornaments will be on display on the holiday tree at Florida Trust Wealth Management’s Sanibel office throughout December before being gifted to their recipients.
