The Captiva Memorial Library, which is part of the Lee County Library System, is offering the following free programming:

CHILDREN PROGRAMS

– Dec. 17: Paper Plate Santa

(during operating hours)

Get into the holiday spirit by making your own Paper Plate Santa. Youths will use cotton balls, paper plates and a little creativity to design Santa’s fluffy beard and bright red hat. All supplies provided.

– Dec. 18: Paper Plate Santa

The library is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. It will be closed on Dec. 24 in observance of Christmas.
