JOG N JAM race brings community together
FISH of Sanibel-Captiva kicked off its 2025 JOG N JAM with the race on Nov. 1 at The Community House on Sanibel. The concert is set for Dec. 6 at the ‘Tween Waters Inn & Marina on Captiva. The 10K/5K had 505 runners from Florida, the Northeast, Midwest and Southwest, Canada, Denmark, Italy and Great Britain, with nearly 40 youths in the Kids Fun Run. The greetings were delivered by Sanibel Mayor Mike Miller and FISH Executive Director Maria Espinoza, with the national anthem sung by eighth-grader Ava Wodjeski. Highlights included expanded sponsor involvement, 17 team competitors, a record number of raffle baskets and the addition of digital goodie bags.
