Volunteers take part in mangrove planting

Coastal Watch reported that high school students from the Greenshore Initiative planted hundreds of mangrove propagules on Aug. 9 at the Gretchen C. Valade Preserve on Sanibel. Thanks to their hard work, it is one step closer to restoring the property to its full potential.
