Bank of the Islands recently made a long-term commitment to education at the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge by underwriting an outdoor learning space, known as The Perch. It will provide “cubby” seating for use by small groups of up to nine people. The u-shaped area is designed for more intimate storytelling and opportunities to connect with nature.
