Bank of the Islands returns as Presenting Sponsor for Wines in the Wild
The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF) announced that Bank of the Islands will once again be the presenting sponsor of its annual Wines in the Wild event, which will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13.
“Since the very beginning, we have proudly partnered with SCCF in presenting Wines in the Wild,” said Bank of the Islands CEO Geoffrey Roepstorff. “It’s always a great night for friends and neighbors to celebrate the role SCCF plays in making our islands so special.”
Wines in the Wild began in 2008 as not only an SCCF fundraiser but also as a “welcome back” gathering to kick off the island’s fall season.
A name synonymous with island community banking since 1974, Bank of the Islands has earned well-established appreciation as a philanthropic leader in the communities of Sanibel and Captiva.
During the highly anticipated event, guests will enjoy strolling the grounds of SCCF’s Bailey Homestead Preserve while sipping wines specially selected for the evening. Top local chefs will be serving enticing dishes to complement the wine tastings. Watch a slideshow of last year’s sold-out event.
