CROW adds volunteer orientation session for October

The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) has added a volunteer orientation sessions, giving community members more opportunities to get involved in local wildlife conservation from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at CROW’s Visitor Education Center on Sanibel Island.

CROW is recruiting volunteers for a variety of roles throughout the nonprofit organization.

Volunteer opportunities include rescuing wildlife, transporting injured animals, cleaning rehabilitation enclosures, doing laundry and dishes, grazing gopher tortoises, working in the gift shop, performing general maintenance and more. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.

Volunteer orientation is required for all volunteers and includes an introduction to CROW’s mission and a behind-the-scenes tour of the Wildlife Hospital.
